BA strike talks postponed

Strike-hit UK carrier British Airways and cabin crew union Unite have postponed talks until at least Friday 28th May.

BA cancelled more than 200 Heathrow flights on Wednesday, but promises to increase next week's flight schedule - from around 70 per cent long haul and 55 per cent short haul this week - if the union follows through on its threat of another strike, scheduled to start on Sunday.

Meanwhile, BA is pursuing a court hearing on the legality of the strike, despite a court ruling in favour of Unite.
