The Vanuatu Tourism Office (VTO) Australia will host a road show starting with Melbourne on June 22, then Sydney June 23 and Brisbane June 24 to update the industry on the destination, products and developments.

With more than 65 per cent of Vanuatu’s arrivals coming from Australia, is is a key promotion for the destination.

VTO director Sarah Anderson saidit was an important opportunity for agents to learn more about new product – and product variety - available in the country.

“Vanuatu offers both relaxation and adventure and with direct flights being reintroduced from Melbourne, there is now easy access from all major cities on Australia’s east coast,” said Anderson.

The road show events will be held from 18.00hrs – 21.30hrs at The Hotel Windsor in Melbourne, Dockside in Sydney and The Mercure Hotel in Brisbane. The educational event will include cocktails and canapés, a detailed destination update and time to meet and mingle with suppliers from Vanuatu’s 83 islands.

A key focus of the road show will be to provide up to date information on a range of Vanuatu’s products and islands including Efate and the outer islands such as Tanna and Espiritu Santo, which are becoming increasingly popular and more accessible to travellers.
