South African Airways (SAA) has welcomed the announcement that QF/SA codeshare flights to Johannesburg will now depart Sydney every day from 21 September, 2010. SAA's head of Australasia, Thevan Krishna said: "We're delighted that we can now offer daily flights out of both Sydney and Perth. We are seeing strong interest in Africa as a business, recreational and VFR
destination and the additional flight will help address that demand."
"With the Football World Cup about to kick off next month, the focus of the world will be on South Africa. New and improved hotels and improved airport and transport infrastructure reflects a major investment in our future and we are confident more Aussies will visit us in the future."
