Antwerp to host 2027 WTC meet

Antwerp is to host the 2027 World Tunnel Congress (WTC) - to run April 23 - 29, 2027 - the first time the Congress will be held in Belgium.
The Belgian Tunnel Association in collaboration with the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association will act as primary organisers of the event and AIM Group Belgium is PCO. 
The event is expected to attract 2,700 experts, researchers, policymakers and companies from sectors including civil engineering, construction, transportation and infrastructure. 
 
Antwerp Convention Bureau ceo Tadeja Pivc Coudyser said: "This event underscores the strategic importance of our city in the global tunnel and underground construction industry."
