Delta to buy SIA Virgin stake?

Tuesday, December 04, 2012
UK media say USA-based Delta has offered to buy Singapore Airline's (SIA's) 49 per cent stake in UK-based Virgin Atlantic.

If it succeeds, Delta's European partner Air France-KLM may then buy part of founder Sir Richard Branson's 51 per cent stake in Virgin, which has a fleet of 40 aircraft and carries some six million passengers a year.
