lifemembership and presented him with a ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his significant contribution to the MICE sector. Trotter has led CINZ for 20 years, growing its membership from 20 to 320. Under his tenure, CINZ established a sales and marketing office in Sydney responsible for the marketing of New Zealand in the Australian market for business tourism. He also inaugurated the Meetings Exhibition, held each year in June, which is now recognised as a key event in the Australasian business events sector.
In a week of glitz, glamour, crocodiles and cane toads, eight conference and incentive industry professionals were wowed during an educational visit to Port Douglas and the Daintree region of Australia.
