An outbreak of cholera in eastern Cuba has killed three and infected more than 100 people in the past few weeks.
In the last financial year, almost a quarter of all travel insurance policies sold in Australia showed Asia as the prime destination, but a disproportionate 50 per cent plus of all claims settled (worldwide) were from that region. Of those, 45 per cent involved incidents in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Cambodia.
