As many as one in four of Malaysia Airlines' (MAS') near-20,000 staff could lose their jobs under a restructuring plan, a report in Malaysia says.
The restructuring plan will include route cuts as well as jobs and could be announced as early as August 28.
MAS has been hit by a downturn in its business since the unexplained disappearance of Flight MH370 in March followed by MH17, which was shot down over Ukraine killing all 298 people on board.
Meanwhile, photographs of near-empty MAS flights are circulating on social media.
