CargoConnect, the web-based loyalty program of Etihad Cargo, has enrolled its 3,000th member since the program was launched in July 2013.
Based on the same platform as Etihad Airways' loyalty program Etihad Guest, CargoConnect is targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and designed to recognise and reward companies for bookings.
The program allows CargoConnect members to earn Etihad Guest Miles for net revenue paid on Etihad Cargo. Benefits include being able to redeem miles for flights across Etihad Airways' network, ticket upgrades, lounge access or purchases from the Etihad Guest Rewards Shop, which features more than 6,000 reward items.
Members of CargoConnect earn one Etihad Guest Mile for every US$2 net revenue paid as general cargo, and four Etihad Guest Miles for every US$2 net revenue paid as premium cargo.
