Australia’s Metro Hospitality Group has appointed Sam Kangais (left) property manager of Metro Mirage Hotel Newport, a hotel and event centre overlooking Pittwater on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the property, as well as identifying and capitalising on opportunities to grow the hotel’s leisure, corporate and wedding business.
Prior to taking up this position, Kangais was general manager of Aqualuna Beach Resort in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. His hospitality experience includes management of Pacific International Suites in Sydney and Pentura Hotel Sydney.
