KLM upgrades business and economy seating for B787-9

Netherlands-based KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has scheduled its first Boeing 787-9 run this October - from Amsterdam to Abu Dhabi and onwards to Bahrain - though Cairo and Xiamen also feature on later departures.

The carrier's new 787-9 World Business Class seats - 30 in all - lie fully flat, with a 1-2-1 layout, a large side storage area and 16-inch HD video screen.

In economy, the carrier says seats recline more and feature an 11-inch HD touchscreen and USB power socket.
