Canberra has launched a new digital marketing tool to help sell meetings and events in the Australian capital.
The Canberra Business Events Delegate Boosting Kit provides event organisers with relevant destination content and resources to help optimise business events and encourage delegates to get out and explore the capital.
Visit Canberra director Ian Hill said the toolkit’s simple and practical solutions would help organisers create more successful business events.
“Canberra has so much to offer the business traveller – inspiring attractions, amazing dining experiences and a fantastic events calendar. The proximity and diversity of our tourism experiences is second to none,” said Hill.
The toolkit builds on the event planning support already provided by Canberra Convention Bureau.
The Canberra Business Events Delegate Boosting Kit allows conference organisers to integrate information easily into their existing communication channels using web sites, e-newsletters and social media accounts.The toolkit includes information, video footage and image galleries on the city’s precincts, dining recommendations and suggested itineraries as well as case studies and social media tips.
