Sydney, Australia 's Redy2Go will begin a Sydney airport-Sydney CBD deluxe shuttle bus service in early August.
The company will operate a fleet of 10-seater Fiat Ducato long-wheel base buses on the service, each vehicle equipped with onboard wi-fi, TVs and driver-to-passenger communication systems.
The buses also feature pre-fitted luggage facilities that negate the need for trailers and effectively speed up passenger pick-ups and drop-offs.
Paul Highams, ceo of Redy2Go said the new service would fill a gap in the local airport-CBD transport market.
“There is really nothing between the limousines and various localised budget airport-shuttle bus services - we have taken the opportunity to fill it,” he said.
“We feel the timing is exactly right to launch this kind of service and we are confident the take-up will be very positive as the word gets out.”
