Scoot adds two China routes

Singapore-based low cost carrier Scoot has launched its eighth and ninth routes to Qingdao and Shenyang in China.
The thrice-weekly service operates on a Singapore–Qingdao–Shenyang–Qingdao–Singapore routing.

Qingdao, a coastal city of nearly nine million people boasts a popular beer and is regularly judged China’s most liveable city. Its mix of historic German and modern architecture, seafood and proximity to Lao Shan, the mountain considered one of the birthplaces of Buddhism.

Shenyang, with 13 million people is the largest city in Northeast China and is the spiritual home of the Qing Dynasty. It is regarded by many as an important shopping and business destination and is a strategic gateway to North East China.”
