IMC to make Oman a medical tourism centre

International Medical City (IMC) a US$1 billion integrated medical tourism project, is set to position Oman as a centre for medical tourism and raise the benchmark of medical excellence around the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region.
The 800,000 sqm Salalah facility will include a 530-bed multi-specialty tertiary care hospital, diagnostic centre, healthcare resort, a modern organ transplant centre, wellness centre, luxury hotel and research and development complex.

The IMC will offer expert services often only available in the US and Europe for patients from the Gulf Co-operation Countries (GCC) Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudia Arabia and UAE.

The IMC is located in a peaceful setting overlooking the Indian Ocean and is conducive to healing and wellness.
