UK police searching for two terror suspects 'on the run'

UK police are searching for two men suspected of planning terror attacks after they broke up a cell linked to Isis.

Afghan Surgul Ahmazai, 28 and fellow Afghan, 30-year-old Qari Khesta Mir Admadzai fled, while three other other members of the cell were arrested in Italy when their suspected targets, which included hotels and restaurants in London, were found on their mobile phones.

They are suspected of targeting a footbridge in Canary Wharf, the Emirates cable car and the Premier Inn at the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, east London.

Police suspect the cell planned to exploit migrant routes into Europe and then slip terrorists into the UK through Calais in France.
In a separate development, UK authorities have warned there is a heightened risk of attack from Irish militants.
