UK prime minister to stand down

Following the referendum vote to leave the European Union, British prime minister David Cameron has announced he will stand down from the top job in October at the Conservative Party Conference.
The next prime minister will be left to negotiate Britain's exit from the European bloc, Cameron said. - JH
