Minister among hotel dead

A Somali cabinet minister was among the 15 killed by the four Al Shabab terrorists who attacked a Mogadishu hotel on Saturday.


Minister for the Environment Buri Hamza was killed when the car bomb used by the terrorists to blast their way into the Nasa-Hablod Hotel caused his hotel room to collapse.


At least 34 people were injured during the hotel attack and the terrorists were killed by police.


It’s the second Al Shabab attack on a hotel since the beginning of Ramadan in early June.
