Branson calls for second EU referendum

Media and travel entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson says his Virgin Group has lost a third of its value since Britain voted to leave the EU (Brexit).

He also said the UK is 'heading for disaster' and has called for a second referendum.

He said a business deal that would have created 3,000 jobs collapsed following the June 24 announcement that Britain had voted to leave the European Union, adding that the 'Leave' campaigners did not realise what a mess the move would make.

He said those who voted for Brexit did so without having all the facts - and he therefore wanted a second referendum.
