WA opens next round of RGS and CCF regional/local funding schemes

Western Australia’s Royalties for Regions Regional Grants Scheme (RGS) and Community Chest Fund (CCF) open 01 August 2016 for their next round of funding, supporting local projects that help provide improved facilities and services in regional communities.

Regional Development minister Terry Redman said the RR investment was about strengthening and growing regional communities.

"These grant programs provide voluntary organisations, educational institutions and community organisations with grants of up to A$50,000 for CCF and between A$50,001 and A$300,000 for RGS," said Redman.

"The funding supports region-specific projects that are driven by local communities to assist the development of infrastructure and services that help to build vibrant regions.

"The grants have supported hundreds of diverse projects and organisations across regional Western Australia in recent years and I look forward to seeing the project applications for this round of funding," he said.

This round, A$15 million is available under RGS and A$5 million under CCF.
