Overseas prize offered at Philippines Food Festival

The 10th Annual Flavours of the Philippines Food Festival is under way at Sydney, Australia’s Grace Hotel with Filipino celebrity chefs including Myrna Dizon Segismundo, Raul Ramos, Anne San Diego and Mariano Catarmin Jr.
 


The festival includes a  buffet of popular Filipino classics and contemporary dishes at The Grace Hotel’s Grace Brasserie.  
During the two-week event, guests have the option of selecting from buffet lunches Tuesday to Friday and on Sundays, as well as dinner on Friday or Saturday evenings.
 
Norjamin Delos Reyes, Tourism attaché at Philippine Department of Tourism Australia and New Zealand said: “The festival is a celebration of the strengthening relations between Australia and the Philippines,which has continued for the past 70 years.  Australia is currently the Philippines’ fifth largest market source with a total of 241,187 arrivals from January to December 2015. We hope Australians enjoy the very best of the Philippines’ culinary delights over the next two weeks.”
 
Guests will not only experience some incredible food but also go into the draw to win a trip to the award-winning island of Palawan.  The major prize includes flights with Philippine Airlines and accommodation.
