Satellite duo to contest airline bradband market

A European satellite-services provider and an aircraft electronics maker are teaming to offer enhanced broadband-via-satellite connections to airline passengers.
France's Thales and Luxembourg-based SES are jointly entering the already crowded field of companies marketing high-bandwith links.
Two rivals, London-based Inmarsat and ViaSat of California, USA already have - or soon will have - significant capacity in contested regions.
