UK airports to offer priority service

All UK airports are to charge tourists at least GBP5 each for priority handling at passport control.
While those choosing to pay the GBP5 should benefit, other travellers could wait even longer than they do now if staff are diverted to the premium service.
Unions have branded the move a “gimmick” and accused the UK government of under-investment.
