Bidders ready for Hahn auction

Chinese aviation investors are believed to be ready to bid for Frankfurt's Hahn Airport in Germany.


Hahn is a loss-making third-tier airport and German media say bidders include China's Alibaba Group Holding and LinkGlobal Logistics, which bought the smaller Parchim Airport in northeastern Germany in 2007.


China's HNA Group also is reportedly part of one German syndicate, but some commentators say that's unlikely because Hahn has few routes that HNA would want.
