DMC members report event totals

Destination management company (DMC) members of the Association of Destination Management Executives International report they managed nearly 65,000 events with a total of 17.3 million participants from October 2015 through September 2016.
The average number events managed by member DMCs is 286, ranging in participant size from five to more than 100,000.
More than 60 per cent of DMCs report their largest event ranges between 1,000 – 5,000 participants.
