Aseman on EU carrier black list, Kazakh airlines given green light

The European Union has banned Iran's Aseman Airlines from operating within the EU due to safety concerns, but has removed all Kazakh airlines from the blacklist because of their improvements to aviation safety.
Four months ago, Aseman Airlines was reported to be buying 20 regional jets from Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries for use on domestic routes.
