TripAdvisor in Traxo financing round

TripAdvisor, Thayer Ventures, Advantage Capital Partners, Silver Creek Ventures and Aristos Ventures are participating in a US$5.2 million financing round for travel data company Traxo.
The money will go toward Traxo's technology initiatives as well as sales and marketing and TripAdvisor will join the company's board of directors.
Traxo said: "Traxo's foundational mission - to make traveling easier by facilitating the seamless flow of critical travel data - aligns with TripAdvisor's overall focus on helping travellers experience a better start-to-finish trip."
