Malaysia Airlines to keep flying to Australia

Malaysia Airlines has confirmed it will continue to fly to Perth - and its other Australian destinations - despite plans by Tourism Malaysia to close its office in the Western Australian capital.


However, the carrier said the focus moving forward would be on expanding its network to China.


“China is an integral part of Malaysia Airlines’ future growth due to its geographical proximity and cultural ties,” the carrier said.


Other Tourism Malaysia offices to be closed are in New York, Stockholm and Johannesburg.
