PAL to target premium passengers on key Australian services

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is to introduce all-new business class and premium economy seats on its A330 flights between the Philippines and Sydney and Melbourne, both Australia, as it targets premium passengers on the routes.

Its reconfigured A330s will feature 18 lie-flat business class seats with direct aisle access through a 1-2-1 layout, plus a 24-seat premium economy cabin.

The remaining 267 seats will be economy.

The carrier plans to start flying the revamped A330 jets to Melbourne in July and Sydney in August.
