French air traffic control strike to run till Friday

The French air traffic controllers' strike that runs until Friday has resulted in airlines being asked to reduce flights by 25 per cent - with more than 1,000 flights expected to be cancelled.
Flights overflying France also are affected, with services from carriers in the UK, Italy, Switzerland and Spain to be disrupted.
Air France says it intends to operate almost all long-haul services and most of its short and medium haul flights.
