Etihad Aviation opens Serbian customer service centre

Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Aviation Group has opened a 'shared services' customer service centre at the Airport City business park in New Belgrade, Serbia that over time will employ about 650-700 staff.

The centre will handle reservation and ticketing services, sales and loyalty program account servicing for its own and partner carriers including Air Serbia, Alitalia, airberlin and European carrier Etihad Regional.

James Hogan, the group’s president and chief executive, said the centre "will provide a wealth of efficiencies for each airline".

Etihad already operates contact centres in its Abu Dhabi base and one in Manchester, UK.
