Millar moves to NZ for major AccorHotels role

Gillian Millar has been promoted to Auckland-based senior vice president, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia for AccorHotels, effective 01 April 2017. 

Millar (right) will replace Chris Sedgwick, who is leaving the company.

Early in her career, Millar worked for AccorHotelsí Darling Harbour hotels in Sydney and Sofitel Melbourne, re-joining AccorHotels in 2012 following its merger with Mirvac Hotels and becoming  regional general manager Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia.

She was subsequently appointed general manager, The Sebel and Citigate Albert Park Melbourne (now Pullman and Mercure Albert Park).

 Following a number of general manager appointments and an area general manager role in Melbourne, in April 2015 Millar was appointed to her current role of vice president operations Western Australia.
