Norwegian adding London-Singapore flights from GBP179

European budget carrier Norwegian continues to widen its network, planning budget flights from Britain to Singapore in September with one-way B787 fares starting at GBP179.
A new 'Norwegian UK' subsidiary, based at london Gatwick, will operate the service. 
Norwegian says it will fly the route four times a week at first, increasing to five weekly flights during the northern winter.
The entry-level fares include one piece of hand luggage (up to 10kg) and a small handbag or laptop case, while checked baggage will cost GBP25 extra each way. Meals are on top.
The 'bargain' fares already are selling out, leaving travellers with more expensive options including a premium product costing GBP699 one-way.
