Qantas cuts off-peak A380 Melbourne-Los Angeles service

Qantas will reduce the number of Airbus A380 Melbourne-Los Angeles flights to three services a week for the early 2018 off-peak period from February 12, with the Airbus A380 back to daily on the route from March 25 2018.
The carrier says it will use the freed-up A380s on other routes.

A Qantas Boeing 787 will substitute for the  A380  on the two 'missing' days, running alongside the six-day-a-week B787 service QF95/QF96.

First class passengers already booked on the Melbourne-Los Angeles A380 on its 'days off' will be offered a range of alternatives including business class seats/refunds or rebooking on days when the A380 flies.
