LAN Airlines flight LA800 departed Sydney on Sunday but was held in Auckland for a day.

LAN said on the weekend that the scheduled in-bound flight LA801 from Santiago to Auckland and Sydney would not operate on Monday or Tuesday.

"At this time it is not known when Santiago International Airport will reopen for full operations," a spokesperson said.
