Australian budget startup Bonza says more than 1.25 million copies of the Fly Bonza app have been downloaded and close to 400,000 customers have used it to book flights. 

The carrier has now released its Australian summer schedule, with flights on an additional two planes (leased from North America's Flair Airlines) available for booking to and from the carrier's new Gold Coast airport base from November.

Bonza now has a 17-strong network with 33 routes and three bases.
