SIA Group posts cabin growth figures

In September 2023, the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group reported continued robust demand for air travel at  the end of the northern summer season.


Passenger traffic grew 24.8 per cent compared to last year, outpacing capacity expansion of 23.7 per cent. Consequently, the Group’s passenger load factor increased 0.7 percentage points year-on-year to reach 87.7 per cent, with SIA and Scoot posting monthly PLFs of 87.6 and 88. per cent respectively. 

Both airlines carried a combined total of 2.9 million passengers during the month, up 36.0 per cent from a year before.
