Gatwick numbers almost back to pre-Covid levels

More airlines and more routes served saw the UK's London Gatwick Airport handle 40.9 million passengers and turn in a profit of GBP315 million last year.
The results show the airport almost recovered from the pandemic, with passenger numbers at 88 per cent of pre-Covid levels and 24.7 per cent better than in 2022.
