Jetstar set to boost WA operations

Australian budget carrier Jetstar, part of the Qantas Group, has launched a sale on its three new international routes that link Perth, Western Australia directly with Singapore and Thailand's Bangkok and Phuket.  

The three routes were part of a major expansion of the carrier’s WA operations, opening a new Perth pilot base and adding 330,000 new low fares seats between Perth and Southeast Asia annually (from August). 
 
The sale fares include: 
·       Perth to Singapore from $130 
·       Perth to Bangkok from $165 
·       Perth to Phuket from $174 
 
Stephanie Tully, ceo Jetstar Group said the sale comes as Jetstar prepares to ramp up flights in and out of Western Australia.   
 
“We’ve already seen strong demand for our new routes from Perth to Singapore, Bangkok and Phuket.
 
"As we celebrate 20 years since Jetstar first took to the skies, we’re significantly expanding our Western Australian operations, with recruitment well under way for our new Perth pilot base, which is set to open in the coming months."
