Wagner and Boeing partner for Australian SAF plant

Wagner Sustainable Fuels has design and construction work in the fuels precinct of the Wellcamp Airport in Toowoomba, Australia to blend SAF to international aviation regulations.

“In collaboration with Boeing, Wellcamp will demonstrate the greenhouse gas emissions reduction benefits of SAF for our customers, provide a focus for federal and state policy makers and introduce the supply chain to this potential A$3 billion+ per year industry,” said Matt Doyle, ceo of Wagner Sustainable Fuels.

"This 'Australian-first' facility will mark the start of the consistent supply of SAF in Australia.”

SAF is produced from agricultural waste, animal fats, vegetable oils and municipal solid waste and significantly reduces carbon emissions, making it a more 'sustainable' alternative for powering aircraft.
