Flybubai to add routes, holiday arm

UAE-based budget airline flydubai says it plans a holidays division and will bring in new routes to achieve a 140 per cent budgeted rise in passengers carried this year

"We will sell holidays in the future through a 'flydubai holidays' type of set-up," said Ghaith al Ghaith, the carrier's chief executive.

"It is in the planning process."

The airline currently has 17 Boeing 737s and will add another 37 during the next five years.
