Cargo-partner has opened a new iLogistics centre with 20,000 m² of warehouse space in Istanbul

Close to the new Istanbul airport, the region’s main seaports and connected to Europe via North Marmara Highway, the Centre offers a wide range of logistics services to customers in Türkey.
With a total storage area of 20,000 m², including 5,850 m² of bonded warehouse space, cargo-partner’s iLogistics Centre Istanbul represents a new milestone for the company’s organisation. The new centre will create more than 85 new jobs, increasing the total number of cargo-partner employees in the country to almost 250 by the end of the year.

Hactl introduces robot security patrols

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) is beefing up site security at its SuperTerminal 1 facility, with the introduction of robot patrols.
The first security robot is about to enter service, initially patrolling car- and truck parking areas and export goods handling areas, mainly during the peak night-time period. The robot will also be deployed during daylight hours as required.

Robots can operate on any paved surface, and have a collision avoidance system.
