European carrier KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has unveiled the SkyEnergy consortium, set up jointly by the airline, North Sea Petroleum and Spring Associates and also has operated a test flight with one engine of a B747 running on a 50/50 mix of green jet fuel (biofuel) and traditional petroleum-derived jet fuel.

Asian reports say Chinese logistics giant Sinotrans has inked a co-operative agreement with China Eastern Airlines and "is considering selling some or all of its stake" in Grandstar Cargo International Airlines, the joint venture carrier it launched last year with Korean Airlines.
