The German company manufactured and implemented the advanced system for AAT Coolport, which is the first on-airport cold chain facility in Hong Kong providing a complete temperature-controlled environment, operated by Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT).

Container stevedoring sees operating profits up 14pc since Covid began

The operating profit margin of Australia’s container stevedoring industry has increased by 14 percentage points since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic to the highest level since the Patrick and DP World duopoly ended about a decade ago, according to the Australian Competition  & Consumer Commission (ACCC) Container Stevedoring Monitoring Report 2021-22.

Jettainer moves to lightweight safety nets

Jettainer is now supplying safety nets called Pallet Net Zero, claimed to be the lightest on the market.
About 60 per cent lighter than conventional polyester options, the company claims they reduce airlines’ fuel consumption, cutting costs and greenhouse gas emissions.
Pallet Net Zero is made out of a bio-based fibre – a pioneering material extracted from renewable bio-based raw materials. Weighing 9 to 11 kilograms, these nets are much lighter than traditional polyester nets, which weigh roughly 17 to 24 kilograms, depending on the type of a net.
