New airfreight fees coming in Qatar

The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is to apply air freight infrastructure fees for all incoming and transit cargo shipments except where shipments remain on the same aircraft.
The fee will be QAR per metric tonne.

Australian businesses are confident exportsales will grow in the coming year and manyhave implemented strategies to strengthentheir global supply chains amid a fluid tradeenvironment, according to the DHL ExportBarometer 2022.
Positively, 70 per cent of businessessurveyed expect export orders to grow overthe next 12 months, recovering from arecord low of 47 per cent in 2020. This year’sconfidence level is the second highest sincethe annual study began in 2003 and abovethe 63 per cent average. Looking back on thepast year, one in two (54 per cent) ofbusinesses reported an increase in actualexport orders, rebounding from 45 per centin 2021 and 28 per cent in 2020.
