Hellmann confirms data breach

Hellman Worldwide Logistics has confirmed a December 9 cyber attack caused a data breach, though it has not yet ascertained "what type of data was extracted", nor has it disclosed the source of the attack.

SIA orders Airbus freighters

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has signed a Letter of Intent with Airbus to purchase seven A350F freighter aircraft, with options to order another five aircraft. 
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, when SIA will become the first airline to operate this new generation widebody freighter aircraft.

Imperial adds lithium battery handling capacity

In Europe, Imperial has added a further 50 per cent to its German lithium-ion battery-handling capacity, following a contract from a German car maker.
The company’s existing lithium-ion module storage and handling facility at Rieste in Germany, covers an area of 60,000 square metres.
Imperial has now taken a lease on an additional 28,000 square metre site in Sarstedt near Hanover to handle the new contract.

Unit load device (ULD) management company Jettainer has appointed Edward Neo as general manager for sales-APAC based in Singapore.

The trained mechanical engineer last worked in the aviation industry at Safran Electronics and Defence Services,  where was in charge of sales for maintenance and repair for a number of airlines. He also has worked for SITA and  implemented a check-in system at Changi Airport Singapore.
