DHL Group 'prepared' for global recovery

DHL Group met market expectations in the second quarter of 2024. 
Despite a persistently-weak economic environment, group revenue was slightly higher than in the previous year at EUR20.6 billion (Q2 2023: EUR20.1 billion). 
As expected, operating profit (EBIT) was below the prior-year level at EUR1.35 billion (Q2 2023: EUR1.7 billion).

Rasquinha to head DHL Forwarding in China

DHL Global Forwarding, the freight specialist of DHL Group, has appointed Aditi Rasquinha (pictured) as its chief executive Greater China. 
She takes over from Steve Huang, who has retired after more than 30 years with DHL Group. 
Rasquinha previously worked with Kuehne + Nagel as ocean freight head Thailand and the Netherlands, and  head of ocean freight Asia Pacific at DB Schenker.

Air France KLM Martinair in rebalancing move
