Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings has reported its Q3 net income jumped to US$14.7 million compared to US$5.2 million during the same period a year earlier. Revenue rose 45 per cent to US$255.5 million from US$460.7 million.

The International Air Transport Association (IATA) says e-freight went live in Taipei, Taiwan on November 3 at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Kaohsiung International Airport.  IATA's e-freight is one of its "Simplifying the Business" projects that improve service and cut costs. It aims to take the paper out of the air cargo supply chain.
