Emirates adds A380 to Paris

Dubai-based Emirates will upgrade one of its two daily Dubai-Paris, France services to an A380 from 01 February 2010.  The A380 will replace the current B777 on the morning service to Paris.

Polar Air Cargo Worldwide has named Thomas Murphy chief operating officer. Murphy previously was senior vice president of aviation Asia Pacific for DHL Express’s Singapore-based business. Murphy will be based in the corporate headquarters of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Polar’s parent company.

Malaysia’s Malaysia Airlines and Sri Lanka’s SriLankan Airlines have extended their existing codeshare partnership to give Malaysia Airlines access to SriLankan’s flights to Male in the Maldives while SriLankan Airlines will access Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne, Jakarta, and Seoul through Malaysia Airlines.
