Ricardo has previously held senior management positions in Australia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan and Thailand, including with the Aboitiz Group in the Philippines, where he headed its logistics company 2GO.

CAM in First Air deal

Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM) has signed a three-year agreement to lease a B767-223 freighter to Bradley Air Services, which operates throughout Canada as First Air.  First Air operates some 30 aircraft and serves about 30 communities with passenger and cargo transportation services, primarily to northern Canada.

Korean Airlines and Asiana have said they will re-route flights away from North Korea after the North Korean government said it could not guarantee South Korean aircraft safety when in North Korean air space because of a joint military exercise by the US and South Korea due to begin this week.

Frankfurt, Germany airport operator Fraport will reduce hours for about 500 cargo workers by about 20 per cent for the next two or three months because business has slumped 25 per cent. Affected staff will receive 90 per cent of their net pay for the period, the company said.

Olympic sold to Marfin

Days after Aegean Airlines launched a bid for Olympic Airlines, the Greek government has sold the state-backed carrier to Marfin Investment Group for EUR45.7 million. The sale still requires an okay from the European Commission, which enforces EU competition law.
